Conducting an Initial Assessment Practice Scenario

This course is intended to provide a fun, interactive practice scenario to familiarize yourself with the initial assessment process. In this scenario, you’re a new BCBA who has been asked to conduct an initial assessment for Cam Jones. The scenario asks you to choose your assessment tools, identify appropriate programming, and choose behavioral interventions. This course will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. Course Objectives
  • Identify the various components of an initial assessment
  • Choose an appropriate assessment tool based on the reported skills of the learner
  • Conduct an FBA throughout the initial assessment
  • Analyze and use FBA data to choose appropriate interventions
