Welcome to the Partnership Language 5-Day Challenge! During this challenge you will learn to use 5 simple steps to build a partnership with anyone to motivate them to use the skills you teach.
One lesson will be added each day. Each lesson will include a video, assignment and a quiz. Together, these tasks should take you no more than 30 minutes to complete. You must pass each of the quizzes to complete the lessons and earn 2 Learning Type CEUs. You can submit assignments via email to [email protected] if you want feedback or if you have questions. These are simple tasks that are designed not to take a lot of time so you can easily fit them into your schedule.

Decades of research support the use of goal setting to improve task performance and success, even in areas that are unrelated to the goals written. Creating a habit of writing down your goals, even small ones, can lead to big changes in your life. It’s these little shifts that, when layered over time can have significant impact.
That’s why we’re giving you an opportunity to set goals for each course you take. Think about what you want to learn from the course, then at the end come back and reflect on whether you’ve achieved the goal. And if you didn’t reach your goal because of something missing in the course, be sure to let us know in the survey or vial email at [email protected]!

While the information in this challenge can be used with anyone, it’s especially useful in getting parents to engage in training. If the parents you work with struggle to actually use ABA strategies at home, the ACHIEVE Parent Training Curriculum combines the concepts in this challenge with lessons written in language parents can understand.
Upon completion of this course, the learner will:
- Identify the 5 steps in using Partnership Language
- Complete the ACT matrix to categorize public and private events as either chase or escape
- Use the information gathered in the ACT matrix to practice perspective taking
- Create a message that motivates the other person to act on what you teach
